Megan's first hunt

Jon took Megan hunting last week to his hunting camp in Uvalde, TX. She killed her first deer - a spike - on Friday. Jon was SO proud of her - she killed it with one shot with a 44 magnum shooting left handed with a right handed gun. She is a rock star! She was so excited and proud of herself. Jon said it was the best hunt he's ever been on. As much as I didn't love the whole idea of her going hunting (y'all know me and my crazy), I am so thrilled that they got to spend that time together and that it was so special.

Okay, I know I'm late posting Christmas, but I've been busy (surprise! haha). So, the girls got a Wii from Santa and the four of us are enjoying it very much. The girls have had the most fun making people (miis) on the wii - some are kind of scary. Jon smokes me at almost every thing we play on there (except fishing - I kicked his butt!). My friend Cindy's hubby showed me how to hook the wii up to the internet so my miis can visit yours! Just let me know and I'll add you to my address book. Believe me, you want some of Cassidy's friends to come visit....
